OSSINING, N.Y. -- More than a dozen students were injured when a school bus crashed into a telephone pole late Tuesday morning outside Ossining High School, according to lohud.com.
The incident resulted in the closure of Emwilton Place, where the crash occurred just before noon.
The bus driver and a total of 13 Ossining High School students were taken to either Phelps Memorial Hospital or Westchester Medical Center or Phelps Memorial Hospital, the report said. Those injured appeared to generally have suffered bumps and bruises, according to lohud.
There may be afternoon school bus delays as a result of the incident, the Ossining Union Free School District announced.
