OSSINING, N.Y. -- Sometimes being a police officer can be tough, but Girl Scouts know just how to handle those kind of days.
And that's just what happened on Monday when Girl Scout Troop 2065 stopped by the Ossining Police Department with warm, fresh-baked apple fritters and holiday cards.
And, while the police officers who were lucky enough to eat a fritter or two, say they advocate a healthy life style which includes eating well and exercising, they said there is always room for a little cheating, especially when your favorite Girl Troop makes such an effort to spread a little goodwill.
