Female Visitor Charged With Promoting Contraband At Ossining's Sing Sing

OSSINING, N.Y. -- State Police charged a woman with promoting prison contraband at Sing Sing prison in Ossining on Tuesday, according to officials.

Kendra L. McDaniel, 40, of Brentwood, N.Y., was charged after she allegedly brought an alcoholic beverage into the facility while attempting to visit an incarcerated family member, police said. 

McDaniel is scheduled to appear in Ossining court on Tuesday, Feb. 3, police said.
