Dead Body Discovered On Route 133 In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining police are investigating after a dead body was found on Route 133 Monday morning.

At around 6:30 a.m., a woman was jogging on Route 133 when she observed a deceased male slightly off the roadway, according to Detective Sgt. Jeff Giorgio. 

Ossining police investigated and determined it was not a hit and run. Giorgio said they are still investigating and do not know the person's age or ethnicity. An autopsy will be conducted.
