Convicted Westchester Killer Back Behind Bars

Terry Losicco, a native of Stony Point who was recently released after serving nearly 36 years in prison for the 1980 murder of 67-year-old Eleanor Prouty of Somers, is back behind bars and facing charges of violating parole curfew and relationship conditions, according to

Following a May 20 arrest, he's being held in Rockland County Jail awaiting transfer to state prison. Losicco, 52, is back in custody just a few months after his release from Fishkill Correctional Facility, reports.

Prouty's family has called him a "walking threat" and a "psychopath." 

Losicco was a teen incarcerated at Lincoln Hall, a juvenile facility in Somers, when he and another teen, David Hollis, were convicted of breaking into Prouty's home, injuring her husband, then robbing and attacking her.

Losicco cited a troubled childhood and drug use when he testified before the parole board.
