Robert W. Youngquist, 88, Of Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – Robert W. Youngquist, of Ossining, died on July 28. He was 88.

Youngquist was born on Nov. 9, 1926 to Ellen "Nellie" and Howard "Nifty" Youngquist, Sr.

He graduated from Ossining High School and then spent two years in the Navy during World War II. Youngquist graduated from Ryder College, working all over the world as an accountant for AAFES.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Howard Jr., sister Florence Decker and beloved niece Lynn Decker Caso.

Youngquist is survived by his sister, Joan Hughes of Mohegan Lake, three nieces, two nephews, two great-nieces, seven great-nephews and three great-great-nephews.

Cremation services were private.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Ossining Boat & Canoe Club.

Arrangements are handled by Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill.
