OSSINING, N.Y. - Mary Pielusko, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died Monday, Dec. 15. She was 89.
Pielusko was born Oct. 4, 1925, in Ossining, to Frank and Susan Perno. She was a graduate of Ossining High School and served for over 40 years as a cook at the Ossining High School.
Pielusko is survived by her children, Susan (Jerry) Hayes and Alfonse (Linda); a grandson; and sister, Virginia Pomoell. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Alfonse V.; and brothers, Joseph and John Perno.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Dorsey. The services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
