He was a proud member of the United Staes Marine Corps who served during World War II and was on the Inaugural Honor Flight. Brundage was a devoted Catholic and a past Grand Knight of the St. William Council Knights of Columbus.
He was passionate about the pro-life cause and spent many days praying the rosary in front of Planned Parenthood. When Ed was in his 60’s he began running marathons, a hobby that continued into his 80’s. During his time running, he participated in the New York Marathon and the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati.
Brundage is survived by his wife Carol J. Brundage; his children, Thomas Brundage, Joanne Berkoff, Denise Brundage, Mary Boles and Janet Landrum, and son-in-law Ronald Tudor as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Sullivan Brundage and his daughter Marilyn Tudor.
A mass was held in Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions in Brundage's name to Knights of Columbus Charities.
