OSSINING, N.Y. -- David Goodnough, 83, of Ossining died on Sept. 26.
Goodnough was born on Aug.6, 1930 in Binghamton, N.Y., to Bruce and Norine Goodnough. He was an editor for various book publishers for over 40 years and the author of numerous books.
He is survived by his wife Doris, son Jonathan, daughter Norine (Paul) Hochman, and grandchildren Lou and Libby. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Morse; , brother Robert and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, Sept. 30, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Dorsey Funeral Home. Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave., Ossining, NY 10562. Dorsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
