Betty Lupetin, 80, Worked For The Ossining School System

OSSINING, N.Y. - Betty Lupetin of Ossining died Dec. 28. She was 80.

Lupetin was born April 19, 1933, to Arthur and Martha (Goldfuss) Sarles. She worked for the Ossining School System and as a waitress at the Highland and Croton Diners.

Lupetin is survived by her son, Gary DiLoreto; daughters, Betty Lou Rice, Toni Ann McCall; stepchildren, Jay and Joseph Lupetin, Lynn Gray; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Curtis and Marsha Fellmeth. She was predeceased by her husband, John.

Calling hours are Thursday, 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc., 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at St. Ann's Church, cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
