OSSINING, N.Y. – The Village of Ossining’s farmers market and Ossining’s Got Talent highlight the weekend events in Ossining and Briarcliff Manor. 

Friday, June 22

Ossining High School Graduation: 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Ossining High School senior class of 2012 is set to graduate at the Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center on the Pleasantville Campus of Pace University. Pace University, Pleasantville.

Waterfront Spray Park: Noon to 6 p.m. The Waterfront Spray Park at Louis Engel Waterfront Park is now open. Louis Engel Waterfront Park, Ossining.

Presentation with PowerPoint at Briarcliff Library: 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Let your creative side shine through. Learn to design and create your own fliers and brochures in this introductory hands-on workshop. Or create dynamic computerized slide presentations for school, business and personal use. Between the Covers Summer Reading Program for Adults: June 22 – August. Special events for adults 18 and up, including movies and a book swap, will take place throughout the summer. 9th Annual School’s Out for Summer Party: 3:30 - 5 p.m. Enjoy a live DJ, games, food, and fun on the lawn between Law Park Pavilion and the Library to kick off the summer - and to sign up for Summer Reading programs. Saturday, June 23

The Ossining Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Dozens of vendors from around the tri-state area offer fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, breads, pastries, and lots more. The market runs every Saturday through Dec. 15. Market Square, Market and Spring Streets. 

Briarcliff Library Story Time: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Residents with children ages 2 to 6 are invited to take part. Registration is requested. Call the library at 914-941-7072. Briarcliff Manor Public Library, 1 Library Road. 

Bellina Chocolates Opening in Ossining: Noon - 10 p.m. Ossining’s newest business, Bellina Chocolates, launches at 86 Croton Avenue. A ribbon-cutting will be held at noon. The shop specializes in gourmet chocolates and sweets. 86 Croton Ave., Ossining.

Ossining’s Got Talent: 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Come out and watch the stars of Ossining shine, and help raise funds for the Riley Saper Foundation (www.rileysaperfoundation.org), which provides student scholarships to Ossining High School seniors. Raffle for a chance to win an iPad, plus other prizes. Adults: $10, Students: $7. Ossining High School, Ossining.

Closing Reception for Cheever Centennial: 2 - 4 p.m. The final event for the Cheever Centennial will be held in the Cheever Room of the Ossining Public Library. The ceremony honors the 100th birthday of Ossining author John Cheever. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Community Helping Hands Training: 3 - 4:30 p.m. Community Helping Hands is hosting a training session, and is seeking volunteers to help local senior citizens in their homes and around their community. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Vesper Series - Peace Like a River: 6 p.m. The Sunday Evening Services of the Historic Ossining Camp Meeting Association continue with the 2012 Vesper Series, “Peace Like a River” at Campwoods Auditorium.
