Stray Cat In Ossining Tests Positive For Rabies

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Monday Aug. 10 on Edward Street and Lafayette Avenue a gray cat became aggressive with police officers and a few residents.

The DOH will be putting up signs warning residents about a stray cat that had rabies in the area.

The cat was captured a short while later and delivered to the Westchester County Department of Health. The DOH has been notified that the cat tested positive for rabies. A robo-call from the DOH will be going out to residents in the immediate area.
