Samuel Rivera, a Metro-North employee, was reportedly rendered quadriplegic from injuries suffered in the crash and has spent the last three months at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains.
Rivera will hold a news conference with his attorney at the hospital.
So far, Metro-North has received seven lawsuits and 80 notices of claim, which are precursors to lawsuits, in regards to the December crash, according to the article.
