Ossining Gas Rupture Under Control

OSSINING, N.Y. -- A ruptured gas main at Madison Avenue in Ossining is under control, police and fire officials said.

Homes near the ruptured gas main at 7 Madison Avenue were being evacuated, the Ossining Fire Department said, but Con Edison arrived on the scene and shut off the valve and turned off the power, police and fire officials said.
