Electricians from Verde Electric are putting in new wiring for a traffic light at the corner of Emwilton Place and Route 9.
"They get old and this one has issues with it," electrician James Gavin said.
The repairs are part of a job contracted by the state to repair lights at 72 intersections from Yonkers to Saugerties, NY, Gavin said.
On Monday, the Emwilton traffic light is expected to be turned off for about five hours while police direct traffic, he added.
