Beginning with Mass, celebrated by the Rev. Jack Sullivan, M.M., at 4 p.m. in the main chapel in the mother house, the ceremony will also include a formal pathway blessing and light refreshments following the Mass.
The pathway, which was refurbished through the generous donations of supporters, many of whom bought a commemorative brick to line the walkway, now provides more level, paved access between the congregation’s front door and its residential care entrance on the center grounds.
The path is frequently used by sisters, many of whom use canes or walkers to move from one part of the complex to another during pleasant weather. Funds raised for the Path to Mission will also be used to support the worldwide humanitarian efforts of the Maryknoll Sisters. To contribute, visit www.maryknollsisters.org/path-mission.
