Man Robbed of $580 On South Highland In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – A man was robbed of his wallet which contained $580 while walking on South Highland Avenue near the Shell station, police said.

The victim reported that he was approached by two black men who asked him for money at around 1:15 a.m. on Monday, police said.

When the victim refused, the men went through his pockets. The victim managed to get away and flee through back yards to Nelson Park, police said, but the robbers had already taken his wallet.

Also in Ossining:

- Vinicio Morocho-Quezada, 32, and Flavio Sanmartin, 30, both of Brewster, were arrested Monday for being involved in a fight outside Tierras Tropicales restaurant at 84 Croton Ave., police said.

- An Ossining woman was arrested after she kicked in the door of her ex-husband's residence at 87 State Street and attempted to attack her ex's girlfriend, police said.

Vanessa Ridenhour, 32, was charged with burglary in the second degree and criminal mischief on July 17 after the incident, which occurred around 7:15 p.m., police said.

Yleny Castro, the ex-husband's girlfriend, was not harmed.
