Lights at Ossining's Emwilton Place Being Rewired

Police are directing traffic at the intersection between Route 9 and Emwilton Place as electricians rewire traffic lights.

Electricians from Verde Electric began working on the lights on Friday as part of a job contracted by the state to repair lights at 72 intersections from Yonkers to Saugerties, NY, according to electrician James Gavin.

The Emwilton traffic light had old wiring and was reported to have problems, Gavin said.
