A group of boys braved a cold splash on Sunday under a dump bucket at the Louis Engel Waterfront Park spray area.
The spray area is open weekends noon to 6 p.m., and after the last day of school on June 24, the area is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
From July 6 to August 10, the spray park is also open Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
When weather reaches 90 degrees or more, the spray area is open weekends 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
High temperatures this week are predicted to be in the 70's and low 80's.
