OSSINING, N.Y. – The owners of the former Brandreth Pill Factory started illegally demolishing their Water Street property on Tuesday night, lohud.com reported.
Teri Stolatis and her family, who own the property listed on the National Register of Historic Places, did not have a valid demolition permit or other special permissions needed to raze the building, Village Manager Christina Papes said in a lohud.com article.
Paul Stone, an attorney representing Plateau Associates – the company authorized to demolish the property – told lohud.com that his client had a valid demolition permit.
