- Victoria Gearity, who is opposing incumbent Democrat Bill Hanauer, was endorsed by the Ossining Town Democratic Committee in the race for mayor.
- Ossining residents are enjoying a whole new salon experience at VaZa Salon at 137 Main St. in the village, which recently celebrated its grand opening after having a soft opening in November.
- Several passing motorists helped rescue a 20-year-old Armonk man who attempted to jump off of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
