OSSINING, N.Y. Alonso Small of Ossining died July 14. He was 49.
Small was born March 26, 1963, in North Tarrytown to Robert H. and Arvella Steed Small. He worked for the Ossining Department of Public Works for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Arvella; his wife, Vera; a son, Alonso W. Small Jr.; two daughters, Alyssa J. Small and Aleyah B. Small; a brother, Robert H. Small; and a grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. A service will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Lewter officiating. Burial will be at Dale Cemetery in Ossining. Leach and Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
