To the editor: Why change? As one who always voted Democrat, on this Election Day, Nov. 4, I must vote for Ossining's mayor on the Working Families Party Line.
Why?
I feel the Democratic Committee has made a huge mistake in dumping our current mayor, Bill Hanauer, for a well meaning trustee but one who has relatively little experience.
Bill brings his expertise and has a proven track record in meeting the challenges of being mayor. Having lived in Ossining for over thirty years, I have witnessed the recent improvements in the Village.
Let's continue the progress in revitalizing the downtown and enhancing our waterfront while easing the tax burden and making Ossining greener and safer. Don't change our mayor. Re-elect Bill to continue this progress. VOTE Working Families Party on Line C. Florence Brennemann, Ossining
