OSSINING, N.Y. Florence Gisonde, of Ossining, died April 25. She was 97.
Gisonde was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, in 1970. She is survived by a daughter Florence (Raymond) Oakley, of Ossining; a son Nicholas Gisonde, Jr., of Hoboken, N.J., eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home in Ossining. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Ann's Church in Ossining, followed by burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
