OSSINING, N.Y. Catherine King, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died April 5 at home. She was 79.
She was born Aug. 8, 1932 in Ossining to the late John and Mary (Glennon) Caterino.
King graduated from Ossining High School in 1950. She was a former manager at IBM Thomas Watson Research Center in Yorktown. King was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Augustines Church in Ossining. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
