OSSINING, N.Y. -- Theater O will present the Young Performers Workshop production of the musical "Steven" by Margie Stokley on Sept. 4 and 5 at 8 p.m. and Sept. 6 at 2 p.m.
"Steven" follows the titular squirrel on his second birthday as he decides to be an adult and find a "big nut" in the forest for his family. The play's music draws from styles such as traditional musical theater, hip hop and blues. "Steven" is 45 minutes long without intermission and is appropriate for all ages.
Theater O is Westchester's newest theater school and serves students from pre-kindergarten to adult in musical theater, acting, puppetry, improv comedy and more.
