OSSINING, N.Y. -- Twenty-five young actors took to the stage in Theater O's adaptation of R.J. Palacio’s "Wonder" last weekend in Ossining.
The play was performed at Theater O in yet another original configuration, with audience members on two sides of the stage, facing each other.
Patrons were wowed by the depth and professionalism of the young actors. Young and old audience members sat rapt by the story and characters they love for two hours.
Theater O performers began rehearsing for the play in March, a few days a week, in addition to their theater class schedules and other activities.
Theater O will present the play once more on Friday, again to a sold-out crowd. Then, it is on to the summer, when the company will present three productions, as well as continuing classes.
Auditions for the summer productions will be held in late May. Go to the website for more information.
