The mindfulness series is in two alternating formats that are open to all. In "The Daily Life," participants will discuss practical suggestions for using Mindfulness as a positive tool in your daily life to reduce stress, improve health, overcome resistance, fear, anxiety and problem solving, tips and techniques. Daily life resources and frequent shorter meditation sessions well also be included. In "Meditation," the event will begin with a short reading, following by a seated body-scan relaxation and 20 minutes of mindfulness meditation, five minutes of walking meditation, and another 20 minute mindfulness meditation session. As time permits, participants may compare and share experiences. There is no charge, A free-will contribution will help to cover room costs.
