OSSINING, N.Y. -- In Ossining, everyone loves to wear a costume on Halloween, even the family dog.
The Ossining Chamber of Commerce held its 2nd annual Howloween Pet Parade on Saturday. Pets and their owners, both in costume, walked from the Ossining Elks Club to Mike Risko Music.
The event featured activities for kids and pets along with live music. The grand prize was awarded to Mindee the cockapoo, dressed up as a cowgirl, for best costume. While the event featured mostly dogs, a guinea pig and a cat also joined in on the fun.
