OSSINING, N.Y. – The Ossining/Briarcliff Lions Club will have a table at the entrance of C-Town at 88 Croton Ave. in Ossining on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., to accept contributions of food for the Ossining Food Pantry, as well as collecting used eyeglasses.
Children's glasses are especially needed. These glasses will be forwarded to those in need nationally and internationally.
The Ossining/Briarcliff community has given food generously to this collection for the past 20 years and hopes to continue that tradition as long as there is a need.
