The Clearwater, along with other vessels from Hudson River Rising, will be docked next to the Ossining ferry ramp so visitors can get on board and enjoy an up-close tour of the boat's hardware, sails, steering mechanisms, and other features from the vessel's crews.

Visitors will enjoy many other events during the daylong Harborfest celebration:

  • The Shattemuc Yacht Club will be hosting a "Plein Air" (in the open air) for artists, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The artists can sit along the Hudson River and use its inspiration to create new works. Visitors can view the artwork from 3-5 p.m., and an auction of the artwork will take place from 5-7 p.m.
  • The Ossining Boat and Canoe Club will be having a youth fishing and seining (large-haul net fishing) demonstration program at the PAL Beach.
  • Live music at Harbor Square kicks off at 11:30 a.m. and continues throughout the day with an eclectic array of musical genres, from classic rock, pop and instrumental jazz to urban folk, new age and sci-fi rock and pop. The extensive music line-up includes eight groups, many with local ties to Ossining. KJ Denhert and her band will play the final set, leading to the fireworks display at 10 p.m. over the Hudson.
  • Shattemuc Yacht Club sailors will be providing free sailing trips from noon to 3 p.m. for the first 15 people in line. The trip will leave from the town boat ramp by the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club at noon and will return to Shattemuc Yacht Club by 3 p.m. Participants will have to walk a short distance to get back to the starting area.
  • Various groups will be manning booths on-site at Harbor Square, such as Riverkeeper, Ossining Police Department, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Ossining Historical Society, the Ossining Rotary and many others.
  • Brennen Boats, a local Ossining boat builder, will do a demonstration on wooden boat building.
  • ArtsWestchester Folklife Program, in association with the Ossining Boat & Canoe Club, presents :?"From Shore to Shore: Boat Builders and Boatyards of the Lower Hudson Valley," a two-day exhibition highlighting the history of the work waterfronts of the lower Hudson, with a special tribute to Henry Gourdine, dean of the Hudson River Fisherman featuring naturalist Chris Letts and Tom Lake. The exhibition will feature photo and text panels, audiovisual displays and artifacts.
