Horace Greeley Athletes Help Fight Pediatric Cancer
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- This season, Greeley athletes are excelling on and off the field.More than a dozen Horace Greeley athletic teams will be participating in the 4th annual Greeley All-Athlete Walkathon on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m at the Horace Greeley High School Competition Field. The event is in honor of Gardner Marks, a Greeley graduate, who lost his life to cancer. This year's walk is also honoring Casey Taub, a Greeley student who succumbed to brain cancer. The city hosted the first ever Peekskill Vintage Grand Prix which featured car enthusiasts from throughout the tri-state area showing off their vintage wheels. Expect Traffic As Art Show Comes To Armonk
ARMONK, N.Y. -- Armonk is hosting its annual Armonk Outdoor Art Show on Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Castle Community Park at 205 Business Park Drive in Armonk. Due to this event, there will be a significant increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic along Business Park Drive, North Castle Police said. People are asked to use caution when traveling in this area and allow extra time for their trip, police said. Traffic control personnel will be in the area to assist and help direct vehicles to approved parking areas, police said.
