The incident happened on the evening of Monday, Aug. 17, the Suffern Police Department said. The pole was damaged in the incident.  The identity of the woman, a Maryland resident who was charged with a DWI, and the exact time of the incident were not released.  The Suffern Police Department was assisted by the Suffern and Tallman fire departments.

Andrew Columbia, 58, of Suffern, was found around noon on Sunday, Jan. 12, on Regis Court in Suffern, according to Trooper Steven Nevel with the New York State Police.
