These Rockland County Roadways To Be Repaved As Part Of $100M Project Thanks to $100 million in new funding, over 560 miles of roadway across the state of New York will be repaved to make them more resilient to freak weather events. The $100 million investment, Gov. Man Charged With DWI After Fiery Route 45 Crash In Rockland A man was charged with alleged DWI following a fiery car crash in Rockland County. The incident took place around 2:43 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28, in the area of Route 45 and Pomona Road in Ramapo, said the Rampo Police. Sean M. Stedge-Stroud, 30, was arrested On Sunday, June 16, around 3:39 a.m., after the deputy saw them acting suspiciously near a residence along the roadway on Route 45 in Ramapo, said Rockland Rockland Sheriff's Department Sgt. Christopher Corbett. Designated Driver Charged With DWI In Route 45 Stop A Rockland County man who was supposed to be acting as a designated driver was busted for DWI by police in Ramapo during an early morning stop on Route 45. A Ramapo Police Department officer on patrol at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning spotted a driver - whose name was not released pending processing - driving erratically on Route 45. During the subsequent traffic stop, the driver advised officers that he was driving his sleeping, intoxicated passenger home.
