Theft Of Israeli Flag: 15-Year-Old Nabbed After Incident At Town Hall In Rockland A boy was apprehended shortly after he allegedly stole an Israeli flag in broad daylight from in front of a town hall in the Hudson Valley on Thanksgiving Day. Officers in Rockland County responded to Clarkstown Town Hall at around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 for reports that the Israeli flag was stolen from the pole on which it was flying. A witness stated to police dispatchers that an unknown male wearing dark clothing was observed ripping the flag from its pole and was running toward Route 304.  A responding officer located him on Congers Road just east of Route 304…

Route 304 Stop Results In DWI Charge For Nyack Man New York State Police troopers busted seventeen local motorists over the weekend who were allegedly driving while impaired in the area. The local residents charged were: Orange County On Friday, Dec. 14, State Police from Hamptonburg arrested Carlos Reyes-Torres, 28, of Newburgh, for DWI. He was traveling in Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested. Route 304 Closed Due To Overturned Truck Route 304 Closed Due To Overturned Truck
Route 304 Closed Due To Overturned Truck Motorists can expect major delays in the area as a stretch of Route 304 will be closed for several hours due to an overturned truck that has spilled debris across the roadway. Clarkstown Police said the crash occurred just before 10 a.m. just south of West Nyack Road in Nanuet covering the roadway with debris that will have to be cleared, as well as having the truck towed. All northbound traffic is being diverted from Route 304 to Route 59.  Motorists are asked to avoid the area. This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
