The incident occurred in Orange County around 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Wickham Woodlands Park, near the sports complex on State School Road in Warwick. According to Chief John Rader of the Warwick Police, officers responded to the area near the kayak launch for a reported burn victim. 2 Teens Injured In Hudson Valley Playground Shootings, Police Say Two Hudson Valley teens are recovering after shooting themselves while allegedly playing with guns at a playground. The incident occurred in Orange County on Saturday evening at the Mullins Apartment complex on Walsh Road in Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, spokesman for the city of Newburgh, two teens, ages 16 and 17 were playing with guns and shot themselves witnesses told police. 19-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured In Single-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash A 19-year-old man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in the region. The collision occurred in Orange County around 7:40 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11 on Route 17 in the town of Goshen, said Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police. Nevel said a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Chevy Traverse, driven by Queen County resident Andrew Joel Johnson, age 19, of Far Rockaway, was traveling west on Route 17 when for unknown reasons he lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle exited the roadway striking a tree, Nevel said. Man, Woman Burned In Orange County House Fire Airlifted To Hospital A man and a woman were seriously burned during a raging fire at their Hudson Valley home. The blaze broke out in Orange County around 4:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, on Overlook Drive in Campbell Hall. According to Chief Mark Ballard of the Campbell Hall Fire Department, the two residents were found on the front porch when firefighters arrived on the scene.
