Hudson Valley Man Charged In 2022 Murder-For-Hire Case A Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly paying another person to kill a 52-year-old man. Orange County resident Enoch Lowe, age 25, was charged on Tuesday, Oct. 10 with paying to have Jeffrey Harris, age 52, killed in October 2022. Both men live in the town of Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman, on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, officers responded to a report of an unconscious man on Brookline Avenue. Man Charged In 'Savage' Beating Death Of 3-Year-Old Boy In Orange County A Hudson Valley man has been charged with murder and manslaughter for the death of a 3-year-old boy. Orange County resident Gionni Sellers, age 23, of Middletown, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 16, and indicted on Friday, Dec. 23, for what authorities call a "savage" attack on Xavier Johnson of Wallkill.  During a press conference on Tuesday, Dec. 27, Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman and Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler said the attack was "catastrophic" and included blunt force trauma to the brain and massive internal bleeding allegedly caused by a severe beating. Orange County resident Damante Troy Stansberry, age 23, of Middletown, was arrested around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1 for the Sunday, Oct. 30 death of Jeffrey Harris, of Wallkill.
