Report Of Shots Fired Causes HS To Be Placed On Lockdown In Hudson Valley: Police A high school in Northern Westchester was placed on lockdown and inspected by authorities after a complaint of shots fired was reported, police said.  The incident happened at 8 a.m. at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua when New Castle Police responded to an anonymous complaint of shots fired. The closure on Route 117 in Chappaqua was in both directions by Kathleen Lane near the Mount Kisco border, according to New Castle Police. The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5. ID Released For 26-Year-Old Killed In Hudson Valley Crash Police have identified a man killed during a crash in Northern Westchester with a tow truck. Putnam County resident Andrew Vasquez, age 26, of Brewster, was killed around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 on Saw Mill River Road (Route 100) near the Taconic State Parkway in Millwood, police said. Person Stabbed At Popular Hudson Valley Deli During Argument, Police Say A man was stabbed at Northern Westchester deli following an argument with another person. The incident took place around 3 a.m., Friday, June 25, at Rocky's Deli at 235 Saw Mill River Road in Millwood, said New Castle Police Det. Sgt. Chris Ragni.
