Speeding Driver Seriously Injured In Rockland County PIP Crash, State Police Say An alleged speeding driver was seriously injured during a multi-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. The crash took place in Rockland County around 8:30 a.m., Thursday, June 22 near exit 17 in the town of Stony Point, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. Nevel said an investigation revealed that a 2021 Hyundai Kona was traveling south at a high rate of speed and passing vehicles when the driver lost control of the vehicle causing him to leave the roadway and travel into the center median where the vehicle struck a tree and caught on fire. …

1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized After 4-Vehicle Crash In Area A 26-year-old man was killed during a multi-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened in Orange County around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14 in the town of Wallkill, on Schutt Road. According to detectives, when officers arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old New Windsor resident lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive. Officers immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, police said. The victim was transported to Garnet Health Center in Middletown by EMS where he was pronounced dead, police added. One Seriously Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Area Police are investigating a serious multi-vehicle crash on a Westchester roadway that left a person seriously injured. It happened around 4:15 a.m. Thursday, June 30 on the Sprain Brook Parkway.in Greenburgh near mile marker 4.2 just north of Jackson Avenue. It involved a 2019 Honda Civic, a 2014 Lincoln Navigator, and a 2015 Toyota Rav4, state police said.  "There is some evidence that suggests a fourth car may have been involved in the crash, but that vehicle may have left the scene prior to police arrival," according to state police.
