Deborah O'Keefe, 61, of Westwood, N.J., was stopped around 11:55 p.m. Saturday on Route 304. After being stopped, deputies determined that she was driving with a blood alcohol level over .08 percent, said Sgt. Al Brunner. She was arrested and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 24.

Kareem Albadawi, 30, of Garnerville, was stopped around 1:23 a.m. Sunday during the checkpoint. During his arrest, officers found that he had a prior felony due to a previous DWI conviction. He is being held at the Rockland County Jail on $1,000, Brunner said.

Another person was also arrested during the checkpoint for driving with a suspended license.

The enforcement detail was funded by the Rockland  County Stop-DWI office in Pomona, Brunner added.
