Nanuet Kicks Off July 4th Weekend With Music, Fireworks
NANUET, N.Y.- The Town of Clarkstown’s preemptive Fourth of July celebration on Thursday was a testament to the fact that for this community, Independence Day means so much more than fireworks. It means community togetherness.
The event, which took place in the field between Nanuet High School and the George W. Miller Elementary School, featured bouncy attractions for children, food, a performance by local rock group The Mighty Spectrum Band, and, of course, an explosive fireworks show.
