A wanted fugitive suspected of gunning down a Maryland judge in his own driveway has ties to New York. Pedro Manuel Argote, age 49, is the primary suspect in the killing of Washington County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson, who was shot multiple times outside his Hagerstown, Maryland home on Thursday night, Oct. 19. Police are hoping that a cash reward will lead to a person of interest being sought in connection with a woman’s death in the region. Emergency crews in Schenectady were called shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday, May 28, with reports of a woman in need of medical attention at a home on Pleasant Street. A nearly month-long investigation into drug trafficking along Albany’s Central Avenue corridor has resulted in 18 arrests.
