Woman From Region Nabbed For Grand Larceny, State Police Say A woman from the region has been charged with grand larceny for allegedly using a person's credit cards and car without her permission. Sullivan County resident Miranda J. Stickle, age 27, of Livingston Manor, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 12, for two counts of grand larceny, said Trooper Steven Nevel. State police in Washington County spotted the vehicle shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, on Main Street in Kingsbury. Troopers discovered it had been reported stolen from Gwinnett County, Georgia in July 2022. Man Stole Thousands While Posing As Rent Collector In Dutchess, Police Say A Hudson Valley man is wanted for posing as a rent collector for his landlord, pocketing $3,500 in the process.  Sean P. Tully, 56, is wanted in Dutchess County by the town of Amenia Court on charges of third-degree larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle, said state police.  Police said Tully has tied to Rockland County and possibly the state of Arizona. Year-Long Investigation Leads To Auto Theft Charge For Dutchess Man A Pleasant Valley man was arrested for alleged auto theft following a yearlong investigation into the incident. Matthew R. Mcclay, 22, was charged Friday, June 14, in connection with the incident that allegedly took place in April 2018, said Rhinebeck Police Sgt. Peter Dunn. Mcclay was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, forgery of a vehicle ID number, auto stripping and unauthorized use of a vehicle, Dunn said. He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $1,500 cash bail. Mcclay is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.

Police: Dutchess Man Rips Off Credit Cards, Vehicle In Domestic Dispute A Poughkeepsie man was arrested after ripping off another person's credit card, cash and a vehicle following a domestic dispute, according to the Town Lloyd Police. Joseph E. Tippa, 42, was charged with grand larceny, criminal contempt, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. following the dispute where he stole the items, according to Lt. James Janso. Tippa was arraigned before Lloyd Town Justice Eugene Rizzo and held without bail in Ulster County Jail.
