Dutchess County Woman Stabs Ex-Partner, Takes Police On Wild Pursuit, Cops Say A Hudson Valley woman is behind bars after allegedly stabbing another woman and then taking state police on a wild pursuit that included going through the backyards of homes. The incident began in Dutchess County on Monday, May 1 on Cady Lane in Wappinger. According to New York State Police, troopers responded to a home on Cady Lane for a domestic incident. Man Caught Stealing $1.6K Computer At BJ's Wholesale Club In Dutchess After a monthslong investigation, a man from Poughkeepsie was taken into police custody for allegedly stealing more electronics and merchandise from a Dutchess County BJ’s Wholesale Store. In May, New York State Police investigators received a report from BJ’s on Route 9 in Wappinger of a larceny, when two vacuums and a Dell desktop computer were stolen, with a value of more than $1,600. Police said that after a four-month investigation, they identified Michael Horowitz, 27, as a suspect, and he was subsequently arrested.
