Father, Son Killed In Area House Fire A man who pushed his daughter to safety was killed, along with his son, after a house fire broke out overnight in the Hudson Valley. The blaze began around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, July 5 in Ulster County in the Town of Shawangunk on Burnt Meadow Road.   Initial responders discovered a 9-year-old girl outside the home, who had been pushed out a window to safety by her father, later identified as Joseph J. Father, Son Charged In Area Burglary An area father and son are behind bars after being nabbed for burglary in Ulster County. Paul V. Cahill Jr., 52 and his 20-year-old son Paul V. Cahill III, both of Walden, were arrested around 8:45 a.m., Friday, Oct. 11, after Ulster County Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence on Albany Post Road in the Town of Shawangunk for a reported burglary in progress, said Det. Correction Officer Caught Trying To Bring K2 Into Prison, Police Say A state corrections officer has resigned after he was allegedly nabbed for attempting to bring synthetic marijuana or "K2" into a prison where he was employed. Travon Webb, 30, of Ellenville, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 25, after it was discovered during a search of employees entering the Wall Kill Correctional Facility that he was attempting to bring in some 64 grams of K2, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.
