Drug Task Force Bust: Duo Nabbed In Dutchess County Search Two Hudson Valley residents have been charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell after a search of their home. The incident took place in Dutchess County on Thursday, March 30 at 400 Maple St., in the City of Poughkeepsie. The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of Jon M. Lowe, age 36, and Sarah Thomas-Marron, age 31, both of the City of Poughkeepsie, Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force. Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child In Dutchess A monthlong investigation into reported sexual abuse of a child in the area led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man who targeted a minor, authorities announced. In Dutchess County, Hyde Park resident Areas Washington was arrested on Friday, Dec. 3 following an investigation into claims that he abused a minor years ago in the Town of Pleasant Valley. Photos: $3.2M Bridge Project Completed In Dutchess The $3.2 million dollar replacement of the Salt Point Turnpike Bridge in the Town of Pleasant Valley has been completed. Construction, which included the replacement of the bridge over Wappinger Creek, the reconfiguration of an intersection and the replacement of an adjacent culvert, began on April 16 of 2019.  The new bridge has two new four-foot-wide shoulders, improving safety and mobility along State Route 115, and the culvert promotes the health of the waterway by allowing water to flow more freely through the area.  The structure is also better lit than its predecessor, acc…

Hartsfield of Millbrook has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony.
