One Person Killed, Another Critically Injured In Two-Vehicle Dutchess Crash One person was killed and another critically injured during a two-vehicle crash in the area. The crash took place late at night on Sunday, Sept. 22, on Route 55 in the Town of Pawling, said Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Capt. John Watterson. As a result of the crash, one person died at the scene and a second person was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, Watterson said. ID Released For Victim Of Fatal Crash In Dutchess A medical issue may have led to a fatal crash near the intersection of routes 22 and 55 that left an area man dead.
