Woman Killed In 3-Vehicle Dutchess Crash Remembered As Loving Mother, Grandparent A Hudson Valley woman who died in a three-vehicle crash last week is being remembered as a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dutchess County resident Katherine Woisin, of Wappinger, died at the age of 85 in a crash on Route 9D in Wappinger at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, authorities said.  Authorities said Woisin was driving onto Route 9D from Alpine Drive when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle. Dutchess Public Works Staffer, Age 29, Remembered For 'His Easy Demeanor, Friendly Smile' A Hudson Valley New York National Guard member and well-respected county employee died from complications suffered during a bicycle accident. He was 29. Dutchess County native Patrick Ian Sullivan, of Poughkeepsie, died on Wednesday, July 6 at MidHudson Regional Hospital. Sullivan, who was employed by the Dutchess County Department of Public Works as a bridge maintainer, was born in Poughkeepsie on March 17, 1993, in the middle of a snowstorm, his obituary said.
