Pair Of Structure Fires Under Investigation In Norwalk A pair of suspicious fires that broke out in Fairfield County buildings within hours of each other are under investigation, authorities announced. In Norwalk, shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday, March 14, first responders were dispatched to a vacant commercial building on West Avenue that left debris destroyed and was possibly set by vagrants, according to Norwalk Deputy Fire Chief Steve Shay.
