The incident happened Thursday, July 13, at the Saratoga County jail, according to sheriff’s officials. An inmate at the Ulster County Jail is facing new charges after being busted with drugs while serving time for an unrelated charge. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday, Dec. 31 that a 22-year-old Niagara Falls man - whose name was not released - is facing a drug charge after being caught by corrections officers with Suboxone on Tuesday, Dec. 29, despite being behind bars. An alert has been issued for a 21-year-old Hudson Valley woman who allegedly attempted to bring drugs into the Fishkill Correctional Facility in 2017. New York State Police investigators in Wappinger are attempting to locate Dallas Pistol Bennett, who is wanted by the Town of Fishkill Court after she was arrested in 2017 for allegedly attempting to smuggle Suboxone into the prison. An alert has been issued by New York State Police investigators in Northern Westchester for a man who was busted on drug charges earlier this year and failed to appear in court. Joseph Tafuri is wanted by New York State Police in Cortlandt for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following his arrest for possession of heroin and Suboxone in January. A 48-year-old woman was nabbed trying to smuggle drugs into the Fishkill Correctional Facility, according to state police. Diana Guzman of the Bronx was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 3, for attempting to bring 18.3 grams of synthetic marijuana, and 85 sublingual suboxone strips into Fishkill Correctional Facility, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. Two men were busted attempted to smuggle drugs into the Fishkill Correctional Facility. An investigation into an alleged Putnam County drug dealer led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Carmel man who was caught with heroin and other drugs during a bust.
